Raw Salt
Unrefined salt straight from the pond or the mine — the highest-volume, lowest-cost end of the range. Raw salt is what the lake and the mine give up before any washing: sun-crystallized crust harvested from solar evaporation ponds in the Lake Tuz region, and mined halite from Central Anatolian deposits.
It is the economic feedstock for refiners, chemical processors and de-icing programmes that run their own screening — and, in the coarse brining crystal, a product in its own right for pickling and curing tanks that want slow, even dissolution.
