Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Bortera Salt (İstanbul, Türkiye). We take the protection of personal data seriously and process it in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

What we collect

When you submit the quote form we collect the details you provide: name, company, business e-mail, phone number, country, product interest, quantity and message. Technical data is stored alongside the request for fraud prevention and to serve you better: your IP address (kept for 30 days, then shortened), the country, city and network operator derived from it, device type, browser and browser language, the page of submission, the page you came from, the referrer, campaign parameters and the time taken to fill in the form. With your cookie consent we also keep the first page of your visit, the number of pages viewed and your Google Analytics client identifier, so we can see which channel brought your enquiry.

Why we process it

Solely to answer your inquiry, prepare offers and manage the resulting business relationship. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in our secured infrastructure (Cloudflare) and delivered to our company mailbox. Retention is limited to the duration required by the business relationship and applicable law.

Analytics and advertising measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement to understand site usage and to see which enquiries came from our own advertising. In the EU/EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Türkiye both stay switched off until you accept cookies; elsewhere they are on until you decline. When you click a WhatsApp or e-mail link, our server also counts the click together with the page and the campaign tag in its address; no cookie, identifier or IP address is stored for it. We do not sell your data and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to info@borterasalt.com.
