Refined & PDV Salt
Vacuum-evaporated salt at 99.9%+ NaCl — crystal-white, low-moisture, and near-free of the hardness ions that foul equipment. Refined salt is produced by dissolving rock salt into brine, purifying it and re-crystallizing under vacuum. What comes out is a uniform, crystal-white grain with almost no insoluble residue and calcium, magnesium and sulfate held to milligram-per-kilogram levels.
One grain shares that chemistry: a free-flowing 0.2–0.6 mm crystal, anti-caking treated with E-536 at 10 mg/kg measured, for general food and technical use.
